Prodo the housing sector’s leading digital transformation agency has partnered with Zellar, a SMART sustainability company to offer residents insight to their energy consumption via the Prodo Portal. Working with Zellar, Prodo will be able to analyse energy use across entire social housing portfolios and empower residents with a simple checklist of actions to reduce it, whilst lowering their bills by up to 50%*.
With an enviable client list and a mission to unlock greater capacity and customer choice through digital, Prodo clients are already delivering efficient digital services and building trust with residents. This latest partnership will also enable landlords to understand the current carbon footprint of their estates and take appropriate action, based on proven diagnostic insight and behaviour-led action planning. Overlaying this climate data with Prodo’s repairs and rent data will provide clear targeted actions to reduce costs for landlords and residents. Zellar is already working with clients across the education, health, local authority, leisure and SME sectors.
Gary Styles, CEO commented: “Zellar is designed to accelerate exactly this kind of community climate action for Britain’s landlords, providers of public services and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). We’ve helped businesses take their first steps and lead the change and are excited to be working with Prodo to support landlords and tenants.”
Rob Quayle, Prodo CEO, added "Landlords and residents are already seeing the benefits of digital by choice. Understanding residents' needs and preferences, is being enabled through the Prodo portal and significant capacity is being created to support the current complexity the housing sector faces. Given the cost of living pressures and the breadth of challenges in asset management, we are delighted to be partnering with Zellar to support residents and providers to save money and achieve sustainability goals. Embedding the Zellar approach into the heart of customer experience and engagement via the Prodo portal delivers a seamless experience for residents and clear actions for landlords."
