GJW Direct (Groves, John and Westrup Limited) have specialised in Marine Insurance for over 175 years. They needed to reinvent their brand, digitise their business model to drive online applications and grow the insurance market by attracting new potential customers with a non-insurance proposition.
We built two new Umbraco websites for GJW: one with the full capability to purchase insurance across eight boat ranges, and a new self-service digital boat organiser portal, MyBoat, which allows members to set up boat profiles, add important documentation, and create and customise your reminders.
Developing an agile working relationship with GJW, we designed two full brand identities that would work on and offline for their core insurance brand and new MyBoat brand. We managed all aspects of their print (stationery, policy docs and brochures), as well as video and event stand designs at their exhibit at the Southampton Boat Show.
Through persona workshops and comprehensive industry research, we launched 13 bespoke HubSpot inbound marketing campaigns in six months to tactically reach their multiple boating personas.
