About the role

About the role

Your role will be to help support the growth of our social housing clients through the technical data-driven insight and SEO strategies and ensure that all new websites meet search engine visibility and indexation criteria.

 

Working as part of a wider team, you will use tools like HotJar and Google Analytics to identify recommendations to improve the effectiveness of our client's website/SEO performance and provide insight reporting. 

 

You’ll need to have suitable experience working in an SEO role and will become a valuable extension to our client's team to deliver the highest quality campaigns.

 

Reporting into our UX&D Manager, your day-to-day will also involve researching, developing and evolving the Prodo product ecosystem. It’s really important to note that the goal of each of the digital solutions we sell is to make every-day human-to-business interactions simple, easy and appealing to promote digital inclusion, thus driving user adoption. 

 

Made up of three core components, this role will support the following:

 

  1. Project Delivery - creating powerful insight and data-driven websites for new and existing web-platform and mobile app projects
  2. Continuous Improvement - identifying and informing new features for our clients
  3. Future Innovation - Working with our customers / delivery teams to get underneath the skin of the industry, identifying, understanding and developing new solutions for sector wide trends so that the sales teams can then proactively position into their tenders or live accounts

Working within the UX&D Innovations team, this role is all about designing and creating intuitive, user-friendly experiences. Our goal is to revolutionise the Housing sector with award-winning websites for Housing associations across the UK.

 

Built with data in mind, our websites will drive conversion and increase support for our 40+ clients. Day to day you will be doing anything from reporting on the performance of existing websites and mapping out user journeys, to informing the IA of a website, presenting to clients and collaborating with the UX team.

Key responsibilities for this role

  • Ensure that new websites meet search engine visibility and indexation criteria
  • Forecast digital marketing strategy performance based on a number of factors including competitor activity, business intelligence and third-party data
  • Make tactical recommendations for website and campaign performance enhancements through the deployment of conversion rate optimisation tactics
  • Provide forecasts for traffic, revenue and conversion improvements where recommendations have been made
  • Research clients' area of business with the ability to assess current landscape and make strategic recommendations
  • Work across departments to ensure websites meet tracking requirements and can adequately measure ROI
  • Interpretation, analysis and commentary on monthly reports to allow clients to understand their digital marketing activity
  • Ensure that recommended actions adhere to digital marketing best practices
  • Constantly keep up to date with data and marketing trends and work this information into ongoing successful strategies

12 essential skills and knowledge you need to have

  1. 3-5 years experience with technical SEO experience in a digital agency
  2. Strong comprehension of SEO tools and insight tools like HotJar and Google Analytics
  3. Google Certified is highly desirable
  4. An understanding of how to use Google Tag Manager (GTM) & Data Studio is beneficial to the role
  5. Excellent organisational skills
  6. Strong numerical and analytical skills to interpret data and create reports 
  7. Strong knowledge of spreadsheet and reporting software
  8. Ability to multitask; running a number of campaigns simultaneously and deliver to deadlines
  9. A can-do approach with a readiness to learn and get out of your comfort zone
  10. The flexibility to work in a team as well as be proactive and self-motivated 
  11. Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight timelines
  12. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
