Role purpose & responsibilities

Reporting to the Head Marketing, Prodo’s Marketing Manager will work hands-on to ensure our marketing activity is delivering against our marketing strategy and delivering leads for the sales team to work with.

Our Marketing manager will lead our marketing activity as an agency. The purpose & responsibilities of the role include:

  • Work with the Head of Marketing to develop the Prodo Marketing strategy across all Prodo brands
  • Use a mix of online and offline marketing tactics and campaigns, including inbound, aligned with the marketing strategy to deliver qualified new business leads for the Sales team
  • Both champion and facilitate alignment between Prodo’s sales & marketing functions, proactively supporting the sales team to maximise sales opportunities and bring value-adds with both existing and potential clients
  • Identify and act upon opportunities to enhance Prodo’s brand reputation and awareness amongst clients, prospects, peers and potential employees
  • Take ownership of Prodo’s online and offline marketing activity including website, inbound campaigns, marketing automation, social channels, events, print and trade press
  • Overseeing the agency’s marketing budget and helping to ensure maximum value is gained from it
  • Reporting on the results of marketing activity, measuring how campaigns are influencing clients and prospects and taking learnings from the data to recommend improvements on results in future campaigns
  • Take ownership of Prodo’s brand, ensuring all materials we produce are consistent across the board
  • Line manage Prodo’s existing Marketing Executive
  • Utilise resource within the business to deliver campaigns

Personal requirements & skills


  • Strong understanding of and demonstrable experience in a marketing role
  • Passion and enthusiasm to take ownership of the role
  • Hubspot Certificate qualification
  • Experience of creating marketing reports and acting upon the data to make improvements
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and project management skills 
  • Confident and dynamic, with the ability to make decisions and solve problems based on feedback and questions from the delivery team and adapt to changing situations or requirements
  • Organised, with the ability to manage your own time pull together multiple work streams in order to deliver projects on time and to budget
  • Good understanding of marketing and a desire to keep learning
  • Flexibility to attend events or meetings that might be outside of normal working hours
  • Ability to understand and communicate requirements clearly, creating briefs that help set up delivery teams to deliver good results
  • Capability and drive to take responsibility for your own learning and development as required by the role


  • Previous experience working for an agency
  • Experience of using the HubSpot platform
  • Experience and knowledge of Inbound marketing
  • Experience organising events
  • Strong writing skills to contribute to Prodo blogs, social channels and other promotional materials
  • Photography / filming experience for covering events and producing promotional content
  • Keen interest in new technologies and practices that could support or enhance our marketing efforts
