Plumlife
Plumlife is the Shared Ownership division of the Greatplaces Housing Group, one of the North West’s largest Housing Associations who manage a large number of shared ownership and rental properties.
Prodo has been its preferred web partner for over four years, and during that time we have worked on many different projects with Plumlife. Plumlife faces a number of particular challenges as it is the Homebuy Agent for its region, and as such its website needed to include a lot of extra elements. In particular, we built them a full online housing application on the site. This had back-end capabilities to allow the applicant to track their application form, and to allow Plumlife to move the application form through a number of internal processes and milestones.
In addition it has over 27 Registered Social Landlords (RSLs) who have access to the back-end of the website. This allows them to upload property adverts which are then displayed in the searchable property database. This latest site also has some great web 2.0 technologies built-in including RSS, online customer polls and the ability to switch on a blog if Plumlife ever chooses to.
