Great Places Housing Group
Great Places Housing Group is one of the North West’s largest Housing Associations, managing a huge number of shared ownership and rental properties.
We’ve been the preferred web partners for the Greatplaces for over four years, and during that time have worked on many different projects with them. The latest of which is showcased here.
The housing association sector is quite unusual in that it has a very diverse group of users who all have very different requirements from the website. We created three fully content managed websites for them, allowing each of the three different target audiences to access information that was relevant to them.
Each site features a whole host of web 2.0 technologies, in addition to being fully content managed. These features include built in RSS (Really Simple Syndication), blogs, forums, customer polls and video and podcast content.
We are continuing to build extensions to the site to suit Greatplaces desire to use the web as a primary means of communication and have also considered its scalability when designing the infrastructure. We also think it looks great too!
