Sefton Fostering Service offers support and guidance to families
that foster, so that they can provide stable and loving homes for
children who can't live with their own families.
Sefton Council wanted to run a specific fostering campaign and came
to Prodo Digital for guidance on how to do this. They didn't like
their corporate council website, as they felt this was quite a
daunting site, with too much information and not very welcoming.
They wanted a friendly, approachable and easy to digest website
which would attract potential foster parents.
The site in essence is simple but fits the bill perfectly; the
designs are wonderful and completely capture that 'child-like'
element without going overboard. The site is bright, friendly and
upbeat. It includes an informative FAQ section and for those
unanswered questions, the site also features a 'discussion board'
which not only allows users to ask questions but also allows
experienced foster parents to answer questions. There is also a
nice success stories page which highlights the diversity of
fostering in a subtle way.
The main point of the site is to engage the customer hence the many
calls to action to 'get in touch'. Hopefully through our creativity
and development lots of people will now be getting in touch and
registering their interest in fostering.
The overall result is fantastic and to say the client is please is
a massive understatement. All the way through the project they have
highlighted how happy they have been with the service and with what
we have produced.
