Salons Direct are one of the leading stockists of professional hair & beauty supplies in the UK. The client wanted to grab social media with both hands as a way of engaging with fans and potential clients, making Twitter and Facebook a vital part of their strategy to increase product sales online.

Prodo Digital has helped the client with daily engagements and updates and enabled Salons Direct to create a strong brand identity. The design and tone of updates on Facebook and Twitter gives Salons Direct a louder and more influential voice in the market place.

A number of competitions were run by Prodo Digital on behalf of the client which resulted in an increase in online following. One of the most notable of these was the 'Blow Your Own Trumpet' campaign which invited users to showcase their best hair updos, colours, nail art, bridal make up and so on.

Over a twelve month period the client saw an increased interaction over the Social Media platforms leading to the number of fans on Facebook increasing from around 600 to nearly 4,000 and Twitter followers leaping from 300 to over 1,900.
