Active Leisure approached Prodo Digital to design their website
to encompass their events including the Chester Marathon. Having
previously worked on the Chester Marathon site for
2011, Active Leisure wanted an umbrella site for their 2012
Chester Full and Half marathon with the ability to showcase any
other events they may hold in the future.
The site boasts different colour schemes for the events relating
to the sponsors and can be edited by Active Leisure using simple
tools within the content management system the site is developed
within. They also have the ability to administer race
entries, championships/events, race details, member's details and
import/export race results.
The site allows users to register to Active Leisure so that all
the user details are kept online ready for any races that they sign
up for in the future. These details may then also be used to access
the member's area where the user can see past race times and
entries for events they have become a part of.
