Meet Woman Interrupted, the app that detects ‘Manterruption’

Yesterday, in the run up to International Women’s Day, we spotted a handy little app from Brazil – Woman Interrupted – which promises to ‘detect and help reduce Manterrupting’. For any woman who’s experienced ‘habitual unnecessary interruption’ in meetings (and I think most of us have probably got our hands up at this point!), it’s a fun way to prove a serious point.

I took the plunge and got a mixed business networking group to download the app en masse, to much hilarity from both genders. Of course, the men took some convincing that they would ever have been guilty of Manterrupting, while the rest of us shook our heads – we’ve promised to pool our results next time we meet, so we’ll see!
