www.pearlandbutler.co.uk is a beautiful online jewellery boutique focussing on selling gorgeous yet affordable jewellery from a wide variety of designers.
Pearl and Butler needed strong Public Relations activity to raise awareness of their brand amongst the female consumer press. Our brief was to create a buzz around the brand amongst the media – particularly weekly titles whose readership age is in line with their average customer – and establish the brand as a simple way to get your fashion fix.
A press release campaign was set up to highlight key products that were on trend as well as being pocket friendly and distributed to targeted journalists. Media relations were key here in order to deliver the key messages to the press and journalists were encouraged to experience the website for themselves in order to see how easy the experience was.
The campaign resulted in an overall understanding of the brand by the target press along with significant coverage of key products in major publications such as ‘Closer’, City AM, Your Hair and ‘Prima’.
