We’d executed channel shift projects hundreds
of times, and one of the UK’s largest housing groups,
Orbit Group, wanted our help.

"A Future Proof Platform..."

Following a rigorous procurement process Orbit Group
choose to work with Prodo because of our extensive work
in the sector and the fresh thinking and support we could bring
to their 2020 Vision to have 75% of customers accessing services
online. Of primary importance was choosing a future proof CMS
platform that could integrate successfully with a wide variety
of systems to support ‘channel shift’ principals. The challenge
was helping one of the UK’s leading providers of Social Housing
lay the foundations for a new digital platform by consolidating
nine existing customer and stakeholder websites.

"Sense Checking Interviews..."

Consultations, interviews and workshops were held
with customers, staff, and broader stakeholders to sense check
what Orbit believed they wanted from their digital ‘shop front’
matched goals and expectations from these audiences. Both
they, and data from analytics, supported the view that
the existing site(s) were confusing and frustrating
audiences looking for relevant content.

"Valuable Digital Resource For Customers..."

A revised information architecture, content cull, enhanced
navigational menus, intuitive site search, and new accessibility
features have all contributed to a more streamlined and
valuable digital resource for customers. And Orbit’s content
editors now have far greater flexibility in how they prepare
and publish different types of content (including social,
video, regional items and news) so that the site
maintains its vibrancy.
