Montgomery leads the way in the UK soft furnishing market. With a high street presence in over 2,000 retail outlets, including Debenhams, John Lewis and Beales, Montgomery help customers create their own distinctive style.
Montgomery hadn’t conducted any Public Relations activity for a number of years and Prodo were asked to help them build their profile within the core Home & Garden and Women’s publications.
Before Prodo proceeded with any core press releases we decided to build some initial awareness amongst the key style editors through producing a stunning, stylish and on-brand Media pack, complete with core product information, a CD rom with hi-res images and samples of material. All in the style of a swatch book.
The mailing was preceded with a ‘teaser’ email campaign, and followed-up with a telephone call. And resulted in generating new relationships with major UK publications within their target groups as well as some fantastic media coverage.
