Contour Housing Group is one of the region’s largest registered social landlords, with 20,000 properties under its ownership and management across 27 local authorities
Whilst planning its annual staff conference this year, Contour Housing wanted to do something different to previous years when involving people and email marketing was a great way of quickly and easily communicating with staff.
The campaign included teaser emails of what was to come, invitations to all its employees and information and agendas for the day. All the emails were then linked back to a specifically built microsite where the staff could confirm their attendance and inform Contour of any specific requirements they had for the day. Another email campaign was also sent out following the conference to thank all the attendees and ask them leave feedback about the day.
This was a fantastic way for Contour Homes to speak directly to its staff with minimum input needed from its employees to respond whilst promoting interaction between the employees and employer. This was also an extremely targeted way to see the results of the campaign by counting how many employees had responded.
