This month's EN magazine looks at how Twitter has taken the business
world by storm and also how it can help your organisation! We have
always advocated social networks as a cost effective and time-sensitive
tool to use within your marketing campaigns - and our MD Pippa Adams is
even featured in the piece discussing how sites such as Twitter give a
'human face' to the organisation and help build stronger relationships
with their customers.
The article goes on to say that Twitter is now being seen by many as a
worthwhile work activity. A new survey that asked 500 small business
owners what they thought of the technique showed that key reasons for
using it were its cost (it is free) and its huge appeal. 75% of those
asked said that they used Twitter for marketing with almost 50% saying
they used it to keep in touch with customers and suppliers and even a
third using it to monitor their competitors!
